Visitors

The CNY model railroad club and historical society welcomes visitors. Please stop by on any Friday night and take a tour of our layout. We operate on the first Friday of every month, but you are welcome to stop by on any Friday night. Our operation session runs from 8 PM to 10 PM, visiting engineers are always welcome, we arrive about 7:00 PM to get organized. The club house is normally open every Friday from about 7:00 pm-?. Our business meetings are on the second Friday of each month. The business meeting usually runs from 8 PM to 9 PM.

Membership

We have very few requirements for membership in our club. We ask that any new members please attend at least two work meetings, two business meetings and one operating session so we can become familiar with you and your abilities. We will then vote you in as a member. Dues are $20 a month and these are to be kept current. All full members are entitled to a key to the building to use the layout at their leisure, and to full voting rights in all club matters. The only thing we ask as a club is that you show an interest in model railroading and a willingness to share information. If you are new, with a willingness to learn about this wonderful hobby, there is alot of knowledge on all levels in our club waiting to be shared.

Location

We are located at the Skaneateles junction just outside of Elbridge in an old railway station located on the active Finger Lakes Railroad.
